A good drink was in order for the hard work that Vivica had done for the last week. The 23 year old deserved it. stepping into the pub, it was inevitable that people noticed Vivica. She was quite one hard person to miss. Having on black skinny jeans that had weapons hanging off of them, a black shirt that was ripped up and had a red shirt under and a black choker around her neck, it was very hard to miss her. The knee high boots she had on made a slight thump sound on the ground, indicating she was going to the bar to order a drink. "Brandy straight." She said eloquently and without thought. It was her favorite drink to have in celebration of hard work, or just to let loose a bit and have a teensy bit of fun.
The bartender handed her her drink, and Vivica went straight over to her normal table by the window. Sitting down and leaning her chair back, she put his feet up on the table and took a deep breath, taking a hit of the brandy. It burned on it's way down, but that was the feeling that Vivica was accustomed to. It made her feel alive for once in her life. Looking around the place, Vivca noticed a few guys sitting at a table, all conversing about something. She presumed the latest sports score of something of that nature, but she didn't know. Very strange and different people came into this place. A blonde boy turned around and looked at her smiling. She smirked at him and smiled back. Smirking back and tossing her a wink, he turned back around and she chuckled to herself.
Turning towards the window, she watched as all the people walked past her like she wasn't even there. Many were scuttling along, hurrying from place to place. Others were nonchalantly walking like it were a sunday afternoon and they were here to see the sites. Then there were the natives like herself that were just trying to escape the high security and live a little. Those were the most interesting people to watch. Many were rebellious and tried to do things that normally one would get in trouble by the law for. But here, those laws didn't apply.
Picking up her brandy, she took another down of it and started to feel the effects. Oh this was always the good part. She didn't like to get drunk, but she liked to feel that buzz that always took the edge off of her normally stressful days. Taking another down, she ran a hand through her silky blonde hair. She took pride in her locks. It was the one thing about her that she found made her attractive. Guys like hair, she couldn't help that. Chuckling at her own thoughts, she finished off her brandy then set the mug down, waiting for a waitress or someone to come refill her bottomless mug.

Draven had gotten seperated from Vivica again. He hurried to try and find her, not that she was overly cruel to him. He just didn't like her being angry with him. He finally managed to get through all the crowds and quickly looked into the window, seeing her in her usual table.
He managed to get past all the people and through the door, having to push past people just to get the few feet from the door to her table. "Sorry master." he said, slightly out of breath from running and squeezing through the crowd. "I got knocked down and you were gone by the time I got back up." he said, seeing she had an empty glass. This meant it'd be really good, or really bad for him. Either way he tended to be a blindly loyal puppy dog to her.

An expression of annoyance spread across her face. Draven tended to bring that out of her from time to time. Maybe because he was so apologetic and she just really didn't care. "You're find Draven. Sit down." Her voice was like a melodic lullaby that could compel or put to sleep anyone that came across her path. Finally a waitress came to her table and took the glass. "Could you get him something to? Whatever he wants." Slowly, taking her feet off of the table, she sat straight up and scooted her chair up to the table.
Leaning her head over, she let it rest lackadaisically in the palm of her hand that was so conveniently there immediately. "You know not to call me master in public. What are we supposed to portray in society? I've told you this at least a thousand times." The way her words came out sounded very nonchalant, therefore giving an illusion that she wasn't upset. The level of irritation wasn't very high, she just wanted to remind him of what she had told him countless times before. The waitress came back with their drinks and Vivica sat back up taking it from her. Nodding her head in acknowledgment, Vivica turned her mug up and took a drink of the fresh brandy. Making a sour face, she gulped it down then let out a breath. "That sure hits the spot."
Leaning back in her chair, she let her head tilt back, exposing her neck, showing a bruise that almost looked like a hand print. The memory of the other night had slipped her mind and she exposed all of her well kept secrets. Not only was there a hand print, but going down on her collar bone there were puncture scars of past fights with her so called husband. It was a nightly ritual that she was beaten and battered until she complied to his very will. Why she stayed with him was beyond anyone's reckoning, even hers. Vivica was an independent woman, very strong willed and forceful. Why the hell she was with the numbskull was a mystery. "Enjoy the day while it lasts Draven. Cause life doesn't get much better than this." She downed the rest of the brandy in one sitting then sat it down on the table wanting another.

Draven sat as she told him to, and then heard her tell him about calling her master in public. "I'm sorry M...." he said, managing to catch himself. Her husband was brutal to her, even though at least to Draven she was nice, but he was ten times worse to him. usually calling her by her name meant a broken bone or two. He basically had a fear of calling her by name at this point.
"I..I'll just have water." he said as Vivica said to get him whatever he wanted. It didn't take much to get him beyond buzzed and it'd be a problem if they went back and he was drunk stupid. He watched the waitress come back and as Vivica drunk her glass, he could see a handprint from the previous night. thankfully not a night Draven was forced to watch. Anytime she'd comply and he was in the room, he'd be rough with her just so Draven would react and he'd have a reason to beat up on him.
He then heard her say about enjoying the day while it lasted as he drunk and smiled. "Well, as long as I'm with you master I enjoy it." he said, then biting his lip. not so much because of slipping up on master again. More because he had always loved Vivica, and it seemed like he had a chance till her husband came back, then things just went to hell and he tried to bury his feelings to save themselves some trouble. Course, being away from her husband, they couldn't help but fight back to the surface.

Things around the room were starting to lack luster to her. The buzz was definitely set now and it was exactly where she wanted to be. Looking out the window again, she watched as a happy couple passed by. Oh how she loathed them. Even though her husband was abusive, she still had the good times with him. They were just few and far between. So naturally she envied those that were actually happy in their relationship. Why couldn't she be happy? Why did she had to dread going home every evening only to be thrown around some more? It wasn't that she was a bad person. She was pretty enough, she was kind... well in a very strange way, enough. Why?
Hearing Draven say that actually made her feel a bit better. A half crooked smile creeped along her lips and she ran a hand through her hair. "Well at least someone is happy to be around me. Where is your girl? Felicity? Where has she been?" Vivica hasn't saw Felicity around lately and she was curious as to where she had gone. Opening her mouth to say something else, the gentleman that had smiled at her before scooted his chair out and started to saunter over to their table almost seductively. Pointing at the seat he smirked lightly and said, "Is this seat taken?" Looking at him with the same annoyed expression and a raised eyebrow, Vivica shook her head. "Well not at the moment. But now," She put her feet up in the chair and leaned back comfortably, "it is."
Putting his hands on the table, he leaned over so that his face was close to Vivica's. "I like a girl that's fiesty." A smirk curled over Vivica's otherwise annoyed expression as she got closer so that her lips were almost touching her. "Oh yeah?" She said seductively. Her hand went straight for his stomach and hard. Falling to the ground on his knees, he was holding his stomach trying to get the breath back in him. "I like my men on their knees." She said smiling sweetly and getting up from her seat. "Let's go Draven. I don't like men begging at my feet."
Putting money on the table for her drinks, Vivica's boots clicked on the hardwood floor, giving away that she was going straight to the door. Opening it up, the bell that indicated when someone walked in or out rang and she stepped out into the street. Taking a deep breath, she took in the fresh air and it brought a bit of life back to her. A small smirk played on her face as she waited for Draven to show up by her side.

Draven smiled at first when she said it was nice someone enjoyed her company, but then heard her ask about felicity. "I..I don't know." he said in reply, to the question, which was mostly true. Other then the fact Felicity hated the fact Draven loved Vivica more and that he didn't do more to try and keep Viv's husbands hands off her, Her husband and locked her away in some place Draven couldn't get to her.
He then watched as the man tried to make a move on Vivica, and watched as she started to get annoyed at the man. He watched her put her feet up and the man say he liked a fiesty girl. only for Vivica to move close and punch him in the stomach. He watched the man collapse on the floor and heard her comment about liking her men on their knees. Maybe that was why she was nice to him, but then why was she with that abusive husband, he knew he never got on his knees for anything.
He finished the last of his water and made his way through the crowd to the door and out again to Vivica's side. "Where to now Ma..." he started but caught himself again. They were technically still in public. He had no idea where they were going now, he did however know where he wanted to avoid.

Looking at all the people, Vivica was getting annoyed that Draven was so far behind. Just as she was about to go in and drag him out, she heard the bell ring and he came barreling out. "Took you long enough didn't it?" She asked looking annoyed, but then letting a smile cross over her face so that it didn't seem like she was truly pissed. Where to now? That was the question at hand for this moment. Well, Vivica really didn't have a plan as to where to go. "Somewhere that isn't my home." She said walking down the street, some people shoulder to shoulder in the crowd. Some how Vivica seemed to avoid all of that.
Thoughts of what the events of tonight would entail, Vivica started to get sick to her stomach. Not really nauseous, just hurting. Stopping abruptly and pivoting around, Vivica looked at Draven with a almost pathetically sad expression. "Can we not go back tonight? I don't want another hand print to end up on my neck." Then something amazing happened. A tear slid down her face. An actual tear slid down her face. Did Vivica actually have emotions? If she did, this would be news for the world to hear about.
Wiping the tear away, her eye's went blank and her usual hard demeanor returned.

"Sorry, people started to crowd around the guy you punched." he said, having always been one to tell her why he was behind. He wasn't really the biggest guy in the world when it came to shoving people out of the way. He resisted the urge to sigh in relief as she said somewhere that wasn't her home. He tried to stay right behind her, since it was the only spot not shoulder to shoulder.
He had to stop suddenly as she turned around, and was shocked to see her seem so... emotional. Atleast by her standards of almost none. He took a second to collect himself before answering. "Ummm.. sure, but where will we stay?" he asked her, knowing that no matter what the blame would come to him for her not coming back. Though he'd have probablly done the same thing anyway. Plus, he was a live in servant, it wasn't like he had a house or family.

"I really don't care. Just somewhere. Is there a motel or somewhere around here?" She desperately didn't want to go back to that house. Honestly, she didn't care where she went. They could stay in a box car for all she cared. Just the thought of going back, only to get beaten again wasn't the most pleasant idea in the world. Walking down the street, she went in search for somewhere else to stay. Where, just where? Looking further down the street she noticed a hotel sign and a smile spread across her lips. There. Her expression hardening again, she looked back at Draven and pointed forward. "There. We'll stay there."
Continuing on, knowing he would catch up soon enough, she opened the door and walked in. It was actually quite nice and she thought she had made a good pick. "I need to book a room if you have any available. I'm not sure how long I will be staying. Under the name of Vivica please." The clerk looked through and sighed. 'Only have a suit.' He said.
[/color=green]"I'll take it."[/color] Taking out a small pouch, she took out a card and threw it down on the counter. He gave her the key and she walked around the corner and up the three flights of stairs. Finding the room, she opened the door up and walked in. It was actually quite amazing. Taking a deep breath, she walked over to the bed and flopped down on it. Finally, away from that abusive son of a bitch back at home. Touching her neck, she let out another deep breath and tears started to form in her eyes. This was just unacceptable, completely unacceptable. Vivica found herself letting her own emotions get ahold of her and she started to just cry, straight out cry.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]

Draven followed behind her and watched her go into a hotel down the street. He managed to get past the people and as he got in, he just caught a glimpse of Vivica heading up the stairs. He went to run up after her, but the man at the desk stopped him. Once he explained that he had fallen behind, he managed to get past the man and up the stairs, the man teling him which room.
As he got to the room he looked around at first. He was amazed it was such a nice room. It was faar nicer and bigger then his sleeping quarters at home. He then heard a sound and looked and could see Vivica was actually crying. He closed the door and went over to the bed, kneeling next to it. "Whats wrong master?" he asked, not used to seeing her cry. Though seeing her cry made him want to cry himself.

Hearing Draven's voice beside her, she turned her head towards him, her blonde hair falling down on the side of the bed and all around her. "I don't want to go back there." She said through tears. Her bright blue eyes shown brighter from the liquid that forced its way out of her eyes. Her face was becoming tear stained and puffy fairly quickly. "I'm tired of trying to hide all the beatings." Sitting up she pulled her shirt off, just in a bra, to show the bruises and cuts, and other beatings that were on her body. Scars shown brightly on her stomach and around her ribs.
"See. I can't go back there. I can't. Ever." Vivca felt so vulnerable, more vulnerable than she had ever felt in her life. Why was she crying?! Especially in front of someone. Why?

Draven listened as she said about not going back and showed the bruises and scars. He knew about most of them cause he'd been present and made to watch. "Well, we don't have to go back if you don't want." he said, seeing as it was all her decision. Though he couldn't help but blush slightly at seeing his master in just a bra. Atleast because they were alone and all.
He moved up onto the bed and gently wrapped his arms around her, mearly attempting to do what his mom had done when he was really little. Before he was orphaned if he cried his mom would hug him and he'd feel better. "It's ok master, we don't have to go back, it can just be you and me." he said, not realizing how it could be taken. She looked pretty when she cried because of how her eyes shown, but he hated to see her cry.

Sitting up, she put her head in her hands and cried more. Then feeling Draven's arms wrap around her, startled her, but not for long because she melted into his arms and turned towards his chest and buried her face into it. Her body was convulsing a little bit from the tears. Usually she would've noticed that she was also half naked, but at this moment she really didn't. "Don't call... me master." She said really tired of hearing that. Master was a name of domination and it made her feel like she was just as bad as her so called husband.
Comfort washed over her and through her veins. Him holding her actually made her feel comforted. For the first time in her life she felt like someone cared. There had always been a spot for Draven in her heart, but he was only a slave to her. He couldn't be more. Though there were a few incidents where they showed how they felt, but those were few and far between. That's the way she liked to have it. At least that's how she thought she liked to have it.

Draven could feel her convulse in his arms slightly as she cried, though, she seemed to be calming down. She seemed to take to him hugging her pretty well as well. He heard her say to not call her master, but had no idea what else to call her mainly from habit.
Sure, she had hinted that maybe there were more feelings that she kept buried deep down, more by mistake then intention. But when he had asked about it once before she had made it quite clear, He was a slave, she was his master, and that was why he got to be in her bed. It could have been denial or something, but that was how she put it that day.
"But.. what should I call you then?" he replied, rubbing her back lightly. "I've always called you master, and I've never had a problem being YOUR servant, you've always been nice to me unless I was bad." he added. There had been a couple times he had gotten out of line and she had hit him a bit, but none of the scars save maybe one or two were from her.

"Call me Vivica. Or Vivi. Something other than master." She didn't care at this point. The tears were streaming down her face. Letting herself cry in his chest, she felt like she was protected. First time in her life, she let herself be the less dominating person. She wanted to be dominated. For the first time she wanted the guy to be the one to protect and take care of her. The closest thing she had right now was Draven. Hopefully he would pick up on the hint that she wanted that from him.
Feeling his hand run on her back, calmed her down from the convulsions a bit. All of her feelings that she had kept buried deep within her she felt were going to come out soon if she didn't stop crying. A part of her wanted to let them out, but the other part didn't want to. Could she let them out? Maybe she could. It was scary to her and she just kept her mouth shut.
